The Indian Red Cross Society was established in 1920 with the purpose of providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promoting health and care for vulnerable people and communities. The Red Cross Society Muktsar is a District-level branch that aligns with the mission of the Indian Red Cross Society. Our goal is to provide support, opportunities, and services to the local community through various projects and initiatives.

Inayat has been empowering women since 2012. We teach the basics and advances of cutting and tailoring, giving women the skills they need to become financially independent.

Saundarya Prashikshan Kendra has been empowering individuals through comprehensive beauty parlor training since 2013. Our mission is to help individuals to build long-term careers in the beauty industry by providing essential skills and certification.

Constitution

Role:The President provides overall leadership, strategic direction, and control for Red Cross activities in the district.

Vice President: Additional Deputy Commissioner of the District, Sri Muktsar Sahib
Role:The Vice President aids the President in overseeing Red Cross operations and serves as President in their absence.

Members The Secretary oversees the daily operations, administration, and coordination of Red Cross programs
SDMs of Muktsar, Malout, and Gidderbaha:The Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) of these regions are key members who contribute local insights, promote community engagement, and ensure that Red Cross services are effectively implemented in their respective areas.
This constitution assures that experienced and devoted officials lead the Red Cross in Sri Muktsar Sahib committed to serving the community and respecting the Red Cross movement's principles.
